Chinese President Xi Jinping to visit Brussels on 31 March

President Van Rompuy and President Barroso will receive President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China on 31 March. President Xi Jinping's first official visit to the European Union is also the first visit ever by a Chinese President to EU institutions. President Van Rompuy and President Barroso will meet President Xi at the European Council and Commission respectively, and these meetings will be followed by a joint working lunch.
