Environment and energy-related technologies business mission in Tokyo to enhance EU-Japan business collaboration

EU Gateway Programme

Some 40 environmental and energy-related EU companies will bring their technologies and products to Tokyo in February 2014 under the umbrella of the EU Gateway Programme, a business programme managed by the European Union.

The participants from the EU Member States will spend a week in Japan, where they will be briefed on the local Japanese market, visit sites of business interest, meet with industry representatives, participate in networking and business meetings, and partake in a two-day business exhibition.

Japanese visitors to the business exhibition will be able to meet and talk directly with representatives of the European companies and see sample products and technologies. A wide range of innovative products and technologies will be on display from such fields as energy saving and renewable energy-related products and technologies including wind turbines, photovoltaic installations, water treatment, biomass, monitoring, measurement systems and waste management technologies.
