Japanese students from different universities around the country visited the EU Delegation to Japan on 27 August. The visit was part of a two-day summer course on environment-related topics including climate change that was organized by the Ministry of Environment of Japan.
Uli Wienrich, first secretary of the Trade Section, gave a presentation introducing the EU Delegation and its tasks as well as the EU climate change policy. Following the lecture and a question and answer session, the 30 participating students had the opportunity to engage in informal conversation with delegation staff during a short networking event.
