european design – a must-see event for interior design buyers

Some 40 European interior design-related companies will visit Japan with the support of the European Union from 3 to 7 June 2013, with an aim to establish or strengthen their presence in the Japanese market.

During a weeklong business mission, participants will be given a comprehensive overview of the Japanese interior retail market, practical tips on doing business with Japanese retailers and firsthand experience of the Japanese interior market by visiting places such as shops and department stores in Tokyo.

The main focus will be a two-day exhibition held for the sixth time under the brand name european design at the Hilton Hotel Tokyo. european design is an exclusive boutique-style exhibition showcasing European interior design companies, carefully selected for their uniqueness, high quality and – above all – design.

The exhibition is the best opportunity for mid- to high-end contract and retail professionals to see the latest European designs, gain inspiration and network with existing and potential suppliers. Exhibits will include a wide variety of functional, timeless and innovative products covering furniture, decorative accessories, home textiles, lighting, tableware and ceramics.
