EU Trade Commissioner visits Japan

European Trade Commissioner Karel De Gucht will visit Tokyo today, 25 March, 2013. During his stay, he will meet with Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida, Economy, Trade and Industry Minister Toshimitsu Motegi and Economic Revitalisation Minister Akira Amari. He will also attend a lunch co-hosted by the European Business Council and Keidanren.

The Commissioner will hold a press conference as follows:

Time:         20:00-20:45

Place:        Delegation of the European Union to Japan 4-6-28, Minami-Azabu, Minato-ku

Language: English only

Please note that this press conference is only open to members of the media. Those wishing to attend should register in advance by telephone or email by 18:00 today. Those who are not registered may be denied entry into the building.
