European Commission Vice-President Dombrovskis to visit Japan

Valdis Dombrovskis, European Commission Vice-President in charge of the euro and social dialogue, will be visiting Japan on 14 and 15 July.

The main purpose of his visit is to deliver the opening address at the 16th EU-Japan Symposium on employment and labour issues together with Yasuhisa Shiozaki, Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan.

During his visit, he will also have bilateral meetings with Japanese interlocutors including Bank of Japan Governor Haruhiko Kuroda, Finance Minister Taro Aso and Economic Revitalisation minister Nobuteru Ishihara.
